rtfm

I stumbled across this gem after joining Polanoid this morning. As a sysadmin, it’s both comforting and disturbing that even in the 60’s people didn’t bother to RTFM.

The video ends with this: “…and above all, study your instruction book again and again.” Priceless.

New lens, crappy film

Here are the first images taken with my new 240mm lens on the 8×10. They’ll be going into a new body of work about suburban spaces and how we fill them.

The lens performed beautifully; the film, however, did not. No more Efke for me.

I stumbled across this video via A Photo Editor today and had to pass it on.  It’s a great lecture about the psychological pressures that fall on artists.  Well worth the 19.5 minutes it will take out of your life.

Mark Wallace posted a link to this video via Twitter (@jmarkwallace) and I thought it was worth passing on.
