Some photos of the crowd at Obama’s innauguration, via boston.com, brought to my attention by Horses Think. I especially enjoyed the satellite photo (top).

I found this image, dated 5/13/07, on my storage drive while sorting through some of my old raw captures.  I only vaguely remember taking the photograph through the windshield of my car as the hail came crashing down onto the roof.

Installation view, “New Condos” from Outward Expansion series

Gallery Saintonge has posted images of all the work that got into their juried exhibition here. The show will be up until January 10, so if you’re in the Missoula area before then I recommend you check it out.

Linens N Things going out of business

My wife and I were given a gift card when we returned a duplicate gift from our wedding. It turns out that since Linens N Things is apparently shutting down all of its “U.S. locations” (did they even have any non-U.S. stores?) they are no longer accepting gift cards. Is this legal? They’ve already gotten the money that’s on this gift card; can they actually refuse to let us buy anything with it?

Waiting for a portfolio review…
